wah, today went out with mummy then on the way home, at interchange there, i saw a very big rainbow. told ma and she was so surprised. i think not much ppl saw it. even if they did, they like hak care. not like me ahaha, i took pics of it. but see it live more pretty and better cos my cam cant take much of it. its too big.. jojo said even kali at bedok could see it sia. jerald said aljunied to t
btw the rainbow has a fainter one outside it. it was observed by jojo. i didnt see it. btw wiki said that second fainter one is RARELY SEEN. omg lor..
More rarely, a secondary rainbow is seen, which is a second, fainter arc, outside the primary arc, with colours in the opposite order, that is, with violet on the outside and red on the inside.called jojo, xin, joanne and joanne to tell them about the rainbow. sadly when i called jolene to tell her, the rainbow was slowly disappearing. i 亲眼 saw it SLOWLY disappear. it was so sad. wanted to call more peeps but it had already disappeared.
xin was working so she went out to see the rainbow and said that many ppl were taking pics of it.
OKOK, sudd inspiration:
While the floor was still wet with tears from heaven, and the sky still a cloudy expanse of grey, a rainbow appeared shyly. And if people took some time to look upwards, they will notice her simple magnificence, an arc of colours lightly painted across the dull grey canvas of the sky.Red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet. And if ppl were to pause and observe, they would see that a bigger arc had formed outside, somewhat fainter and less glamorous, mirroring the rainbow like a halo.Violet, indigo, blue, green, yellow, orange, red. When enough beatific smiles and eyes filled with awe gaze towards the sky, as silently as it came, the rainbow quietly left.LOL. poetic HOR?? i saw the secondary rainbow but didn't realise its colours were OPPOSITE of the brighter primary rainbow.. sad...
i guess its because of how rare it is to see such a big rainbow in the sky in singapore that we would be so amazed when we see it. if big rainbows were to be everyday occurences, who would care?
so although i want to see one soon, i'm glad its rare.. hahas but the next time i see it i must observe the fainter rainbow, whether the colours is really oppo.. :D
